Block Island Velo Club was established in the early 90’s as a bicycle road racing team. Today, it also represents an association of riders affiliated Block Island in some way. Our signature bike jerseys can be found on the enthusiastic shoulders of cyclists literally around the world. Of course, you will also spot the jerseys at New England races and club rides.


During the summer, cyclists visiting the island can connect with club members for informal group rides, usually early in the morning. Block Island Sport Shop serves as a sort of clearinghouse for riders looking for company or routes.
